Every business entity needs a registered agent. Your registered agent accepts service of process (legal notice of a lawsuit). Choosing a qualified registered agent can be tricky. There are a lot of us out there, and not everybody is on the up and up. Mississippi has tried to make it easier by publishing a list of Commercial Registered Agents—agents that are registered with the SOS.

Mississippi Registered Agent LLC is a Commercial Registered Agent. You can rest assured that we’re not working from home. We run a legitimate small office here in Ridgeland that handles business services and filings every day. If you give us a call, you’ll talk to a real person, someone who knows Mississippi business in and out. And if you spend money with us, you’ll know that your money is staying here in the local economy, not being shipped off to some giant corporate headquarters.

As local Mississippi registered agents, we take pride in being able to provide you more than just any other national service. So in addition to fast and affordable registered agent service, we provide address security by listing our address instead of yours and the platform to create your entire Mississippi business presence. We give you a web domain with corresponding business email address, a website along with SSL for security, and a Mississippi phone number that can serve as your direct business line. All at no additional upfront cost. Cancel anytime.

We believe we offer the best and most comprehensive service at the most competitive price. That’s our promise, and we strive to keep it every day.

Why Do I Need a Mississippi Registered Agent?

Mississippi State statutes (MS Code § 79-35-5) require that a business entity appoint a registered agent within the state. Your registered agent is a point of contact between your business and the public. If someone wants to serve you with a legal process (notification of a lawsuit), they will serve it upon your registered agent, who must then inform you. Also, the Secretary of State’s office will send notifications for fees and taxes to your registered agent.

What is the Difference Between a Commercial and a Noncommercial Registered Agent?

Mississippi makes a distinction between Commercial Registered Agents and Noncommercial Registered Agents. A Commercial Registered Agent has registered and paid a fee with the Secretary of State in order to be listed on the SOS website.

Commercial Registered Agents and Noncommercial Registered Agents provide the same services and are responsible for the same duties.

We are a Commercial Registered Agent.
